Why Cowboys and Demons

Welcome to my weird little world!

I pondered about what to name this blog, something about a Goddess, something about Erotica, or something simple and concise. Then I started to think about my writing, and what sets it apart. The first thing that came to mind is the fact that I'm writing two separate and very different Erotic Romance series.

The first is about the Wild West in the late 1800's. I love the manly men of the old West, the cowboys who relied on their wits and muscle to carve a piece of civilization out of the wilderness. The women of the frontier inspire me as well, they weren't the shrinking violets and hot house flowers that spent their days tatting lace and planning dinner. These women worked the ranch with their men, fought off intruders, and had a passion as wide as the prairie. The West afforded people of all social classes a new start, an opportunity to achieve the American dream of prosperity and success through their own hard work. Plus...who wouldn't find a pair of chaps strapped to heavily muscles thighs delightful?

From the Wild West I move to my other passion, urban fantasy and demons. I know, could my taste in literature get any different? I love magic and the mythology of Gods and Goddesses and urban fantasy is an amazing field to play in. The familiar cities of our reality get tweaked and are re imagined into magical landscapes where Gods and Goddesses are active and magic is as accepted as science. Let's not forget the hot alpha males that inhabit the world, and all the fun and erotic things magic can lead to.

So that in a nutshell is what I write about. I love what I do, and I'm so thankful I live in a world where I have the freedom and passion to follow my dreams. I hope someday I can share my books with you.
